Field Service Team Leader - Netherlands

Are you a natural leader with a passion for service and technology? As a Field Service Team Leader, you will lead and develop a team of skilled engineers, ensuring our customers receive exceptional support every day. Acting as the key link between customers, engineering teams, and management, you will drive performance, build lasting relationships, and play a vital role in keeping some of the world's most advanced automated logistics systems running at their best. Your leadership will directly influence customer satisfaction, team success, and TGW's reputation as a trusted automation partner.


WHAT YOU’LL BE HANDLING

  • You lead on projects and tasks within the field service team and coach and develop a team of Field Service Engineers
  • You support with system audits and complex fault diagnostics and assist TGW Stakeholders with gathering technical information on products
  • You deliver monthly 1:1s and performance reviews with direct reports and conduct monthly performance reviews with the Field Services Manager
  • You collaborate with Lifetime Service Sites, Retrofit, and Project teams for seamless project support
  • You support the recruitment, induction and onboarding of new team members
  • You ensure the staff you are responsible for are trained and kept up to date on Health & Safety legislation and safe working procedures
  • You drive continuous improvement in service processes and team performance
  • You proactively consider ways in which TGW can add more value to our customers' businesses 


WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • You have a technical diploma at least MBO-4 level and have developed mechanical, electrical and software skills over the years
  • If your MBO-4 diploma is not electrical, you need at least an electrical qualification at a MBO-2 level
  • You have previous experience within field service and are experienced with installation, upgrade or project-based service work and have strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capability
  • You have great language skills (Dutch and English) and are experienced in leading a team or coaching and mentoring team members 
  • You have ability and willingness to travel frequently, including extended trips
  • You have strong understanding of automated material handling systems 
  • You are experienced in working on customer sites in high-pressure environments 
  • You are comfortable working at height
