Purchasing Assistant

TGW Ibérica, a leading company in automated intralogistics solutions, is looking for a proactive, organised person with excellent interpersonal skills to join its team in the position of Purchasing Assistant. 

You will be responsible for implementing the Group's purchasing processes according to a standardised framework in constant coordination with the Purchasing Specialist and the Group Purchasing Manager.

WHAT YOU’LL BE HANDLING


  • Act as the Purchasing interface between local unit and international Lead Buyers for assigned material groups/projects.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support throughout the purchasing process, from purchase requisition to de-livery tracking.
  • Accurately create and maintain Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring alignment with project requirements and inter-nal procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date supplier data, certifications, and documentation in My SRM.
  • Support contract management activities, including the preparation, registration, and archiving of NDAs, General Terms & Conditions (GTCs), and framework agreements.
  • Assist in tender processes by preparing documentation, comparison matrices, and coordinating internal inputs.
  • Direct connection with Finance and Legal departments to resolve invoice mismatches and ensure the alignment of POs, deliveries, and invoices.
  • Support audits and compliance checks by ensuring proper documentation is available and up to date.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings and prepare supporting materials as required.
  • Recover and monitor objectives achievement (both operationally and strategically).
  • Cooperate closely with other departments of the organization.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, pref-erably within a purchasing, procurement, or pro-ject-based environment
  • Solid knowledge of purchasing documents and processes (POs, contracts, NDAs, delivery notes, invoices)
  • High proficiency with procurement tools (preferably My SRM) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory; French is a plus
  • Previous experience in international industrial pur-chasing environment and experience with Navision (ERP) or SAP will be considered.
