Software Automation / Integration Engineer

Are you a Software Engineer with a passion for automation, integration and solving complex technical challenges? We're looking for a Software Automation / Integration Engineer to join our team and play a key role in delivering cutting-edge automated warehouse solutions for global customers.

In this role, you'll develop automated testing and validation solutions that ensure sophisticated software and control systems perform seamlessly before going live.

WHAT YOU’LL BE HANDLING

Design, develop and maintain automated test solutions using modern software engineering principles.
Build scalable and reusable automation tools using C# and Java.
Create and execute automated testing across emulation, bench testing and live customer environments.
Develop and maintain regression test suites to support multiple project phases.
Validate integrations between software applications, control systems and operational technologies.
Analyse test outcomes, investigate failures and support defect resolution.
Collaborate with Development, Testing and Systems Integration teams to improve software quality.
Support commissioning, go-live activities and operational readiness testing at customer sites.
Troubleshoot software and integration issues in complex automated environments.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of automation frameworks, tools and testing methodologies.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Essential

Strong software development experience using C# and/or Java.
Experience developing automated testing or automation solutions.
Good understanding of software testing methodologies including functional, integration, regression and system testing.
Experience troubleshooting software issues and working alongside development teams.
Knowledge of systems integration and communication between software applications and control systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Willingness and ability to travel and work on customer sites for extended periods during testing, commissioning and go-live phases.

Desirable

Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Automation Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience within warehouse automation, logistics, manufacturing or distribution environments.
Knowledge of PLC-controlled systems, industrial automation or material handling technologies.
Experience with system integration testing, emulation environments or commissioning activities.
Exposure to Warehouse Control Systems (WCS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or similar platforms.
