Technician Customer Support Controls

TGW Logistics Group is a leading systems provider of highly automated, flexible solutions supporting distribution and fulfilment for leading retailers and global brands in e-commerce, apparel, general merchandise, and grocery. We are now recruiting  a Technician  Customer Support Controls in Spain.

As a Customer Support Technician Controls is responsible for providing technical support to clients remotely and in person at the different Hub customers.

WHAT YOU’LL BE HANDLING

  • Operatively ensure the reception, processing, and documentation of issues reports in the first and second level support environment
  • Take the responsibility for customer issues and manage them through to resolution
  • Investigate, diagnose, locate, and find solutions to resolve the issues 
  • Availability to work 24/7 in rotating morning/evening/night shifts
  • Follow the standard procedures for the correct escalation to other teams
  • Generation of system documentation
  • Maintaining documentation up to date
  • Making modifications to existing installations
  • Willing to travel to customers as required (up to 30% of time)

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Education and soft-skills requirements:

  • Strong automation and electrical background: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Industrial Electronics and Automation Control Engineering or equivalence
  • Languages: Spanish (high), English (medium).
  • Good communication skills
  • Being a good team player
  • Commitment to continuous learning about new TGW products and solutions and training other team members
  • Self-sufficient, proactive, and persistent 
  • Car driving license

Technical competences:

  • Solid knowledge and demonstrable experience in SIEMENS Simatic Step 7 and TIA Portal
  • Knowledge in visualization systems: WinCC, WinCC Flexible, Zenon, … 
  • Knowledge of servo and frequency inverters: Lenze, SEW, ...
  • Knowledge of Scanners: SICK, Leuze, ...
  • Knowledge in Vision Systems: Keyence, datalogic, ...
  • Knowledge of Fieldbuses: Profinet, Profibus, Asi, Profisafe…
  • Reading electrical drawings
  • Electrical knowledge
  • Proficiency in computer and basic office applications (Word, Excel, One note...)
