Technician Customer Support IT

TGW Logistics Group is a leading systems provider of highly automated, flexible solutions supporting distribution and fulfilment for leading retailers and global brands in e-commerce, apparel, general merchandise, and grocery. We are now recruiting  a Technician  Customer Support IT in Spain.

As a Customer Support Technician IT is responsible for providing technical support to clients remotely and in person at the different Hub customers.

WHAT YOU’LL BE HANDLING

  • Operatively ensure the reception, processing, and documentation of issues reports in the first and second level support environment
  • Take the responsibility for customer issues and manage them through to resolution
  • Investigate, diagnose, locate, and find solutions to resolve the issues 
  • Availability to work 24/7 in rotating morning/evening/night shifts
  • Follow the standard procedures for the correct escalation to other teams
  • Generation of system documentation
  • Maintaining documentation up to date
  • Making modifications to existing installations
  • Willing to travel to customers as required (up to 30% of time)

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Education and soft-skills requirements:

  • Languages: Spanish (high), English (medium)
  • Good communication skills
  • Commitment to continuous learning about new TGW products and solutions
  • Ability to understand customer needs
  • Self-sufficient, proactive, and persistent 
  • Commercial awareness
  • Strong IT background: 3 years bachelor’s degree in IT science or equivalent
  • Driving license

Technical competences:

  • Solid knowledge and demonstrable experience in SQL
  • Relational database: ORACLE
  • Operating systems: Microsoft Windows / Windows Server
  • Tools: SQL Developer, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams…)

 Preferred Skills

  • Customer or end-user support experience
  • Experience in development of software for logistics or production/process automation 
  • Task management tools: Jira and devOps (TFS) from Microsoft
  • Programming languages: C# and/or Java
  • SOLID, OOP, Agile methodology (SCRUM)
  • Technologies: Entity Framework, WPF, WCF, Workflows, Unity, Multithreading
