Senior Software Engineer (Mechatronics)

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Global Software Engineering & Technology team in Pune, India. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and enhance high-quality software components within the TGW architecture for global warehouse automation solutions.

You will work on complex technical modules, contribute to software architecture, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support the development of scalable, reliable, and high-performance applications.

WHAT YOU’LL BE HANDLING

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using .NET technologies.
  • Develop responsive frontend applications using Angular (preferred) or React.
  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Develop software for controlling and monitoring TGW mechatronic systems.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following engineering best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, Controls Engineering, and global development teams throughout the SDLC.
  • Perform system integration, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Contribute to unit, integration, and system testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Support CI/CD, deployment automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Required Skills

  • 4–8 years of experience in .NET Full Stack development.
  • Strong experience with .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, C#, and Web APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with Angular (preferred) or React, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Good understanding of REST APIs, Microservices, and distributed systems.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL databases; exposure to NoSQL is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of OOP, SOLID Principles, Design Patterns, and Clean Code.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments.

Good to Have

  • Experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, or MQTT.
  • Exposure to Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
  • Experience in automation, warehouse management, or industrial software.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
