Senior Software Engineer (Mechatronics)
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Global Software Engineering & Technology team in Pune, India. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and enhance high-quality software components within the TGW architecture for global warehouse automation solutions.
You will work on complex technical modules, contribute to software architecture, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support the development of scalable, reliable, and high-performance applications.
WHAT YOU’LL BE HANDLING
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using .NET technologies.
- Develop responsive frontend applications using Angular (preferred) or React.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Develop software for controlling and monitoring TGW mechatronic systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, Controls Engineering, and global development teams throughout the SDLC.
- Perform system integration, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Contribute to unit, integration, and system testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Support CI/CD, deployment automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Required Skills
- 4–8 years of experience in .NET Full Stack development.
- Strong experience with .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, C#, and Web APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Angular (preferred) or React, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, Microservices, and distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases; exposure to NoSQL is an advantage.
- Good understanding of OOP, SOLID Principles, Design Patterns, and Clean Code.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments.
Good to Have
- Experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, or MQTT.
- Exposure to Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
- Experience in automation, warehouse management, or industrial software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
